1. One of my favorite nutritionists always says "Eat beautiful food" and I try to live by that. Dragon Fruit or Pitaya is one of those beautiful foods I love to eat and I've just posted a great recipe for Dragon fruit salsa (that takes 5 mins to make) on the Skin Food Talk journal in the post titled FOOD | Water-Rich Foods. Let me know what you think! 2. I'm obsessed with coconut oil for just about anything. A quick synopsis of why, coconut oil is loaded with healthy fats, it has almost 50% lauric acid. Its antifungal, antimicrobial and you can eat it, bathe in it, use it as a moisturizer, treatment of scars, bug bites, rashes and more. My favorite brand is Conscious Coconut, it comes in a travel size tube is fair trade and organic. Packaged by the Ronald McDonald house in Tampa, FL and gives a child a meal through Feeding America for every tube sold. I MEAN! Can you see why I love it?! 3. I've learned over and over again from my SFT co-founder and aesthetician, that a good toner is the most under rated step in a skincare routine. I've finally listened and my skin has never been better. My fav mist to date is Linne´ Botanicals Refresh mist. This little mist helps balance the PH of my skin after cleansing and helps the absorption of the serum I apply after I mist. Helping my skin stay hydrated and protected throughout the day. It's even great to carry around and spray throughout the day. 4. A great recommendation from my manifestation coach Lacy Phillips , this book is a must read for anyone wanting to live their best life yet. With scientific explanations and practical applications Breaking the Habit of Being yourself is a must read (or listen if you prefer audio books) for anyone!
