Weekly TASTING 4
1. Girl Boss Media, Sophia Amorusa's latest brainchild has put together a great guide on how to help and take action if you've been feeling overwhelmed as I have after the Charlottesville events. There are several ways to support and let yourself be heard and I urge you to take a look and find something that resonates with you. 2. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so much that I usually have two. One of my fav bloggers and recipe makers, Loni Jane has shared a simple and deliciously nourishing Burcha. Check out the recipe and low down on nutrients here. 3. Eating out multiple times a week, eating packaged foods, stress, travel, being sick etc. are all things that can leave our body acidic. It's important to know how to keep the body alkaline and balanced for overall wellbeing. Alkalizing greens by Welleco is one of my favorite supplements to introduce to people. It is a multivitamin, energy boost, and alkaline rich drink that actually tastes good! Despite the green color, its more of a pineapple flavor and can be added to water, coconut water or a smoothie. One of my dear friends and life coach, kundalini master, Ryan Weiss sends out a beautiful email every morning titled Waking up with Ryan. He shares a heart felt message with thoughts and intentions for you to meditate on each day. In Ryan's words "The first five minutes of everyday determine how much success and happiness will follow for the rest of the day. These precious minutes, when harnessed, have the power to bring more power and creativity in your career, love and understanding in your relationships, and will revitalize your body’s health." I look forward to this email every morning. Ryan has also just announced his first solo retreat in Bali this October. Find out more info here.
